What we do
Kinetiq publishes plain-English guides about modern televisions. Display technology moves quickly, and the marketing around it can be confusing — a wall of acronyms and competing standards that makes it hard to know what genuinely matters. Our goal is to cut through that and explain the advantages of today's TVs in terms of what you will actually see and use at home.
Our approach
Every guide on this site is written from scratch in clear language, structured around real decisions: how a screen produces its picture, what features change daily use, and how to match a television to your room and budget. We favour practical advice over hype, and we try to be honest about trade-offs rather than declaring a single "best" answer that suits everyone.
Why "Kinetiq"
The name reflects the idea of motion and energy — fitting for a medium built on moving images. Our logo's layered waves represent the overlapping technologies, from backlights to processing, that combine to create the picture on a modern screen.
Independence
Kinetiq is an editorial project, not a shop. We do not sell televisions, and our guides are written to inform rather than to push a particular product. Where general examples of technologies or formats are mentioned, they are used to explain concepts, not as endorsements.
